The European Union takes note of the recent changes within Kosovo's Provisional Institutions of Self-Government. The EU expects that the unity of the negotiation team will be maintained and that the Kosovo institutions will continue to constructively engage in the ongoing status process in order to ensure its rapid progress. The EU further underlines the necessity to assure the swift implementation of standards. In particular, the EU encourages the new leadership to further reach out to Kosovo's minorities. The EU looks forward to working with the new leadership of Kosovo in order to bring Kosovo closer to European structures.
