How to get to the Graz congress centre

 

Graz

 

  • By public transport: there are direct train services to Graz from Vienna, Linz and Salzburg.

  • From the main railway station in Graz take tram No. 3 or 6 to the stop “Graz Hauptplatz/Congress”.

From Graz airport

Bus transfer

There is a public bus service from Graz airport to the main railway station Hauptbahnhof/Jakominiplatz in Graz. The bus stop is immediately in front of the airport terminal near arrivals. A single ticket costs €1.70. Journey time approx. 30 minutes.

Train connections

A regional train departs hourly from the station Graz airport to the main railway station. The station is a five-minute walk from the airport terminal.

Individual transfer

Persons interested in individual transfer from Graz airport to the Graz congress centre are requested to register by 18.4.2006 (9.00) at the latest by email to competitiveness@aims-international.com, giving their name, a mobile phone number and their travel data (arrival time and flight number).

Parking

A limited number of parking spaces at reduced rates are available for accredited media representatives in the Andreas Hofer car park. The Andreas Hofer car park is on the left bank of the River Mur right next to the Graz congress centre. The reduced day ticket costs €24 and can be purchased at the cash desk on presentation of the yellow badge. Please take a normal short-stay parking ticket at the entrance and also buy the day ticket at the cash desk (credit cards and cash cards not accepted).

  • 20 and 21 April 2006:    7.00 - 22.00
  • 22 April 2006:    7.00 - 12.00
